Chattanooga Police Department hosts Hamilton County Grand Jury for training with specialized units

Chattanooga, TN — The Chattanooga Police Department welcomed the newly impaneled Hamilton County Grand Jury for a day of training designed to provide insight into law enforcement operations.
As part of the session, jurors met with members of CPD’s Crisis Co-Responder Unit, Narcotics, Real Time Intelligence Center, K-9 Unit, and Gun Team.
The training aimed to help jurors better understand the terminology and specialized work they may encounter during their service on the Grand Jury.
CPD officials noted that the collaboration strengthens community understanding of the justice system and the roles played by law enforcement agencies in Hamilton County.
