Man forced his way into the home of a woman he had a relationship with for two weeks, only for him to break down the bathroom door when she locked herself in and started punching the woman, causing her injuries that required stitches; charged
Jacksonville, FL – According to the police officials, the 29-year-old man, later identified as Cristopher, was arrested and is now facing a slew of charges, including domestic vioIence, assauIt, battery, burgIary and kldnapping after he entered woman’s apartment, whom he had 2 week relationship, only for the man to start beating the woman because he thought she was unfaithfuI. The incident occurred several months ago and the 29-year-old man was formally charged this week, court records say.
During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the man forced his way into the woman’s home when she came back from work. The woman was then able to lock herself into the bathroom. The 29-year-old man then broke the bathroom’s door and started punching the woman all over her body. The woman fell and suffered injuries that required stitching. After the alleged attack, the 29-year-old man sat on the sofa and began crying.
The man then told the unidentified victim to get into his car. The woman told investigators that she was scared and followed his commands because she didn’t wanted to hit her again. The 29-year-old man reportedly drove to a store to buy ice for her injuries. The woman was then able to escape and call the authorities.
During an interview with investigators, the unidentified victim reportedly said that while she fell down in the bathroom, the man reportedly asked her ‘where is the knife’ before telling her that her ‘life will end tonight and she is not going to see her kids anymore’. The woman also told investigators that he also asked her ‘where she has been’. The 29-year-old man is being held without bond.
