Chattanooga, TN – According to the statement, the fatal accident occurred around 10:07 a.m. Saturday morning.
It happened on Hickory Valley Road.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that the 53-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and and struck a guardrail.
The 53-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her identity has not yet been released.
