Man got into a heated dispute with his friend while discussing the next step of their recovery efforts when he started beating the victim for six hours and ultimately killed him with a knife, then asked a maintenance worker to help clean up the house
New York City, NY – According to the police officials, the 43-year-old man, later identified as Jeremy, was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence after he reportedly killed his friend over the weekend. The fatal incident occurred after both the victim and the suspect drank all night at the suspect’s home.
The investigation process began after maintenance worker called the authorities and reportedly said that the 43-year-old man asked him to ‘cIean up the mess’ after leaving his friend’s body covered on his front porch. The responding officer’s found the lifeless body of 43-year-old Cristopher and realized that the victim was beaten and then stabbed to death.
The 43-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after the maintenance worker called 911 to report the incident. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the fatal incident occurred following a heavy night of drlnking. Authorities also discovered that the victim and the suspect were discussing about their next recovery meeting when they got into a dispute. Jeremy then started hitting and punching his frlend before he pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the head, killing him.
Right after killing him, the 43-year-old man called a maintenance worker, that worker in the area, to come and clean up his house. The maintenance worker saw the body and told the owner of the house that he needs to get a bIeach to do the job only to call the authorities and report the crime. The 43-year-old man, who also has a pending r-pe case, is being held without bond, court records say.
