Indianapolis, IN – According to the police officials, the 28-year-old man, later identified as Chanse, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including battery, theft and robbery after he stoIe a woman’s vehicle before running the owner with it. After his arrest, the 28-year-old man reportedly admitted to being high on drugs and having stopped taking his schizophrenia medication when he committed the crime. The man also admitted to authorities that after the incident, he reportedly had a panic attack and later woke up in a field.

The investigation process began last week after authorities responded to a car theft call at a local gas station. The responding officers discovered that the unidentified victim left her vehicle unlocked. The 28-year-old suspect entered the vehicle and started to drive away. The victim suffered injuries after the man ran her over twice while she was holding onto the vehicle’s handle.

The woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Shortly after stealing the vehicle, the man had an accident with another vehicle after running a red light. The driver in the other vehicle suffered a broken leg, police officials said. The 28-year-old man was taken into custody one day after the incident.

During an interview with investigators, he reportedly said that he was high on meth and didn’t take his medication schizophrenia at the time of the incident. The man also told investigators that he had a panic attack right after the incident, so he sat down and woke up in a field. The 28-year-old man also told investigators that he fled the scene because ‘he knew he was going to be in trouble’.
