Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department participated in this year’s Touch-A-Truck event at Warner Park, where the BearCat tactical vehicle drew significant interest from children and families.
The event gave attendees an opportunity to learn how the vehicle supports the CPD SWAT team during critical incidents.
Children were also able to explore some of the gear used by the team, gaining a closer look at the equipment officers rely on in the field.
SWAT officers spoke with visitors throughout the event, answering questions and explaining their work.
According to the department, officers enjoyed meeting the community and appreciated everyone who stopped by to take part in the interactive experience.
