The Hamilton County 911 Emergency Communications District debuts 9-1-1 spinning wheel at “Back to School Bash”
Chattanooga, TN – According to the officials, the “Back to School Bash” with Hamilton County Schools was a significant event held over the weekend at the Tennessee Riverpark.
Representatives from the District, including Telecommunicators Williams, new hires Hagler, and James, engaged with hundreds of parents and children throughout the day.
A highlight of the event was the introduction of the new 9-1-1 Spinning Wheel, which quickly became a favorite among the kids.
This educational tool, designed to teach important 9-1-1 information in a fun and interactive way, was developed with the help of Williams, his wife Lynsey, Floor SupervisorMcCarter, and Telecommunicator Senior Barrett, who worked on the questions and artwork.
The District extends its gratitude to all who contributed to making the event a success. Schools interested in having 9-1-1 telecommunications make an educational presentation can reach out via email to arrange a visit.
