Chattanooga, TN – Senior Firefighter Seth Hutcheson graduated from the Chattanooga Police Academy, marking an important step in his career with the Chattanooga Fire Department.
Members of the department attended the ceremony at UTC’s Fine Arts Center to support Hutcheson, who is now the newest fire investigator in the Fire Investigations Division.
He was also recognized with the Academic Achievement Award.
As sworn firefighters, CFD investigators are required to complete police academy training since their duties include conducting criminal investigations, interviewing suspects, and exercising full arrest powers.
The department commended Hutcheson for his accomplishment and extended well wishes to all of the police academy graduates as they begin their careers.
