Chattanooga and Cleveland firefighters complete intensive 80-hour Hazmat Technician training

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department thanked instructors and participants for their efforts in completing an 80-hour Hazmat Technician course.
Firefighters from Chattanooga and Cleveland took part in the two-week training, learning about the chemical and physical properties of hazardous materials and how to respond to and mitigate hazmat incidents.
Participants worked through multiple hands-on scenarios during challenging lessons, gaining practical experience in managing hazardous situations.
The department praised the group for their dedication and performance throughout the course.
