Chattanooga fire crews extinguish blaze at vacant South Holly Street structure

Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a fire early Monday morning at a vacant, condemned residential structure in the 2100 block of South Holly Street, near E 23rd Street.
The incident was reported at 6:29 a.m. on December 2, 2024, after 911 callers noticed smoke and flames emanating from the building.
Firefighters from downtown companies brought the fire under control by 7:05 a.m.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
