Chattanooga Fire Department announces registration for advanced extrication training
Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 are hosting the 2025 Regional Advanced Extrication Class, offering 16 hours of specialized training for firefighters.
The course, designed for those with a minimum certification of Firefighter II and basic extrication experience, focuses on hands-on learning in small groups rotating through 10 stations.
Registration is now open, with a fee of $150, which includes lunch for both days. Those registering after April 1 will pay $200. Payments can be made through Venmo or via checks payable to the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association.
The event aims to enhance advanced extrication techniques and is expected to draw participants from various fire departments. Proceeds will benefit the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Support Foundation.
Participants must have their department chief’s approval to attend. Certificates of completion will be issued following the training.
