Chattanooga Fire Department partners with Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management to monitor storms

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Fire Department, in collaboration with the Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security, thanked all local agencies that gathered at the Emergency Operations Center to monitor the storms on the night of March 16.
The area was fortunate to avoid the worst of the severe weather.
The department also expressed appreciation for the hard work of firefighters who responded to calls across the city, including those related to downed wires, trees, and several fires.
The coordinated efforts helped ensure the safety and well-being of the community during the storm.
