Chattanooga, TN – This past week, Chattanooga Police Department officers participated in educational events at local schools to teach students about safety and law enforcement.
Officers visited Red Bank Elementary for the “Community Helper Visit,” where kindergarteners learned about police duties, how to stay safe, and when to call 9-1-1.
CPD also attended Chattanooga Christian School’s “Community Day,” giving students the opportunity to hear from SWAT team members and traffic investigators.
Officials said the events are part of CPD’s ongoing efforts to build positive relationships with the community and educate young residents about public safety.
