Chattanooga police participate in 4th annual running down recidivism 5K

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department sponsored and participated in the 4th Annual Running Down Recidivism 5K, an event benefiting the BRAVE Effect, a local organization that supports individuals reintegrating into the community after incarceration.
The event promotes compassion, support, and forgiveness, and included a competitive race in which Officer D. Johnson finished second among female participants overall.
Officials said the department values opportunities to engage with community initiatives that promote rehabilitation and second chances.
