Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department recently introduced a new, state-of-the-art van designed specifically for their Crime Scene Unit. The vehicle, custom-built by Chattanooga-based Moxie Van Co., is tailored to meet the unique demands of crime scene investigations.
Work on the project began in 2022, with Moxie Van Co. collaborating closely with CPD to ensure the van’s design and build met every requirement.
Moxie Van Co., known for its expertise in specialized van and RV conversions, delivered a meticulous and efficient build that complements the high standards of CPD’s CSU.
While details of the van’s features remain under wraps, it is expected to enhance the unit’s ability to respond to major incidents by providing advanced equipment and better support at crime scenes.
This new addition is part of CPD’s ongoing efforts to modernize its resources and improve investigative capabilities to better serve the Chattanooga community.
