Chattanooga, TN – The third annual S.O.S. Fest — Summer Outreach Safety Festival — brought together hundreds of community members this past Saturday for a vibrant day of fun, food, and vital safety education at the Chris L. Ramsey Sr. Community Center.

Hosted by the Chattanooga Fire Department and a coalition of local partners, the free event offered an engaging mix of games, prizes, and hands-on activities aimed at promoting health and safety awareness. Attendees had the chance to interact with first responders and public health professionals while enjoying a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

“This is about connecting with our community and making sure families are prepared and informed,” said a representative from the Chattanooga Fire Department. “The turnout shows how much people value safety and togetherness.”

Organizations including Safe and Sound, Erlanger, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, CHI Memorial, the Hamilton County Health Department, the City of Chattanooga, and Chattanooga Community Development played key roles in making the event a success. Their booths and demonstrations covered a wide range of topics, from fire prevention and CPR to child safety and wellness resources.

Now in its third year, the S.O.S. Fest continues to grow in both size and impact, reinforcing Chattanooga’s commitment to community safety. Organizers said they were thrilled by the enthusiastic response and are already looking forward to next year’s event.
