CPD encourages residents to learn more about the OASIS program for senior welfare and support
Chattanooga, TN – Per reports, the Chattanooga Police Department is offering a program designed to enhance the safety and well-being of seniors in the community.
The Older Adult Specialized Intervention System connects officers with residents aged 65 and older, providing free welfare checks and support visits.
Through the OASIS program, seniors can receive regular check-ins or enjoy a friendly visit from officers, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and supported.
The initiative aims to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the senior community, fostering trust and improving overall quality of life for older residents.
