Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 2 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened in the 2400 block of Bailey Avenue.
Chattanooga Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews said that small fire was found in the back apartment of the house.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
One of the residents was treated on scene for possible smoke inhalation.
The cause of fire remains under investigation, Chattanooga Fire Department officials said.
