Jacksonville, FLORIDA – According to the police officials, the 29-year-old suspect, later identified as Jousha, was taken into custody and later charged with murder after he killed his cIose friend. Police officials said that suspect and the victim, later identified as 29-year-old Joseph, got into an argument over a pooI device.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the victim was sitting inside a vehicle when his friend approached him and asked for the device. The 29-year-old suspect then pistoI whipped the victim with the weapon, when it went off and shot the man in the abdominal area. The suspect reportedly killed his close friend while demanding for the pooI device.
The 29-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital, but later pronounced dead. The victim left behind 3 children, aged 5, 6 and 9 years old. The victim’s ex-wife reportedly said that the victim and the shooter were really close friend and were hanging out every other day.
Police officials said that 29-year-old suspect is also charged with armed burglary, because he reportedly reached into the truck. He is being held without bond. This incident remains under investigation. This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information becomes available.
