Four hospitalized after shooting on Ty Hi Drive as Chattanooga police investigate
Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred on July 12, 2025, in the 6800 block of Ty Hi Drive, which left four individuals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:06 p.m. after receiving reports of multiple victims. Upon arrival, they found four people injured by gunfire. All were promptly transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
In addition to securing the scene, officers helped those present safely exit the area. The department’s Homicide Unit has taken the lead on the investigation, while the Crime Scene Unit processed the location for evidence.
Preliminary findings indicate that an altercation occurred shortly before the shooting near the victims. Investigators are working to clarify the circumstances and are gathering physical evidence, conducting interviews, and reviewing potential video footage.
