Tennessee – Anglers and boaters should prepare for a temporary closure of Lake Halford beginning July 21, 2025, as the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) undertakes paving operations to improve the area.
The project includes replacing old asphalt and adding clearly marked parking spaces aimed at enhancing both access and safety for visitors.
At this time, no official reopening date has been set due to potential weather-related delays.
TWRA has pledged to provide timely updates and announce when the lake is ready to reopen to the public.
