Chattanooga, TN – The Great Bowls of Fire charity cookoff at Brainerd Lodge 736 brought together some of Chattanooga’s top chili makers to compete while raising funds for the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home.

A panel of judges, including Chief Chambers, Chattanooga Fire Department Battalion Chief Carlos Hampton, Hamilton County Sheriff Austin Garrett, and Amelia Greer of WDEF News 12, sampled a variety of chili recipes.

The winning dish stood out with a surprising secret ingredient—coffee—adding a bold twist to the competition.

The event helped bring the community together for a good cause, with organizers thanking participants and attendees for their support.
