Columbus, OH – According to the court documents, the 35-year-old defendant, later identified as Tlmothy, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibiIity of parole after he killed 30-year-old Drevv three years ago. Prosecutors claim the defendant beat the victim to death before he set his body on fire. Right before he was sentenced to life in prison, he pleaded guilty to aggravated murderer, kidnapping and corpse abuse.

The fatal incident occurred in July 2021 after the victim met the defendant, who then invited him for a drink at his hoteI room. During the sentencing, the judge reportedly said that the defendant ‘insists he trtured and killed a man and put it all on social media because he was drugged and someone tried to steal his wallet.” According to the court documents, prosecutors reportedly showed more than 60 videos of the defendant killing the victim.

Per reports, in the social media videos, the victim can be seen lying on the ground, all swollen, as the defendant was standing over him and holding a knife near his head. According to the court documents, the defendant reportedly said that he wasn’t involved in the killing in his initial interview with authorities.

During the sentencing, Judge Andy reportedly said: “Regret is not remorse. Regret is feeling sorry for yourself, it is not sympathy for those you have done wrong. The defendant has not really taken responsibility for anything. He still invokes a victim stance. He insists he tortured and killed a man and put it all on social media because he was drugged and someone tried to steal his wallet.”
