Kansas City, MISSOURI – According to the police officials, the mother, later identified as 36-year-old AshIey, reportedly came into the local police headquarters where she admitted to killing her two children, 2 and 9. The woman was taken into custody and later charged with second-degree murder of her son, later identified as 2-year-old lsaac. Prosecutors said charges are forthcoming for the shooting death of her daughter.
Police officials said the 36-year-old mom reportedly drowned her toddler son and shot her daughter to death. The responding officers found the lifeless body of the 2-year-old boy in a fountain. The 9-year-old daughter’s body was found inside the mother’s vehicle.
The first responders then searched for a 3rd victim, who luckily, was found safe. Authorities released a statement, saying that the 2-year-old boy was drowned after his older sibling was shot to death. Police officials also said that they still don’t know the mother’s motives.
The responding officers believe the 9-year-old daughter, ScarIet, was reportedly shot dead in a residential suburban area before the sibling’s drowning. The 36-year-old mom is being held without bond. No other information is available at the moment. This incident remains under investigation.
