Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development has released its 2025 PTSD Grant Annual Report, detailing the implementation of the James (Dustin) Samples Act.
The report outlines the grant program designed to assist with workers’ compensation costs for firefighters diagnosed with PTSD.
While no claims have been submitted yet, the program rules have been finalized and approved, with $890,700 available for future claims.
