Vacant home fire in Chattanooga under investigation after early morning response

Chattanooga, TN – A house fire that broke out early Saturday morning in a vacant home on the 4100 block of Forest Acres Lane is under investigation, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.
At approximately 3:39 a.m. on July 27, 2025, 911 dispatchers received reports of a structure fire. Green Shift companies responded and arrived to find the residence fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked quickly and effectively to bring the fire under control, fully extinguishing it by 4:11 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Responding units included Engine 6, Engine 4, Engine 10, Ladder 19, Squad 19, Battalion 2, and the Chattanooga Fire Department Investigations Division.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
