Chattanooga, TN – After a distinguished 25-year career, a longtime captain with the Chattanooga Fire Department has officially retired. The department announced the milestone on Tuesday, recognizing the captain’s decades of dedication, leadership, and service to the city.
Assigned to Ladder 1 on Green Shift, the retiring captain was praised by colleagues for his strong leadership, deep knowledge of the job, and commitment to his crew. Fire officials noted that his presence will be greatly missed, both in the firehouse and on emergency scenes.
