Tennessee – According to the court documents, the 48-year-old woman, later identified as MeIody, was sentenced to 8 years and 5 months behind bars after she tried to hire hltman to kill the partner of a man, David, she met onIine and then became hlking friends. Prosecutors said the woman tried to hire a hltman via dark website, which was a scam.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the 48-year-old defendant reportedly harassed the man’s girlfriend before she became his wife. When the man married his girlfriend, the defendant began looking for a way to kill her. The defendant even paid more than $10k through the website in order to hire a hltman. The woman met the man in 2020 and they became hlking friends. It remains unclear whether they were involved in a romantic relationship.
When David moved in with his wife two years ago, the defendant sent them a message, in which she stated that she ‘hopes both of them fall off a cIiff and die’. The defendant even sent several threatening voice messages to the victim, in which she used an app to disguise her voice. The woman even tracked the couple’s locations using an app and provided a location when and where the victim would be.
Last year, the defendant logged in into a dark website, which was a scam, in order to hire a hltman to kill her hiiking friend’s wife. The woman filled out a request, which stated that she wanted the death to see random or an accident. The defendant even provided pictures and location of the victim, who was not identified. The defense attorney stated that his client is remorseful and wants the victim to move in with her life.
