The Chattanooga community gathered for Chief Chambers’ Swearing-In Ceremony, showing strong support as the department embarks on a new chapter
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, Chief Chambers expressed his gratitude, stating, “Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in, with, and for every sector in the city. One of the things I love about this city is its diversity—not just diversity from a demographic standpoint, but in its diversity of perspective, thought, and experiences.”
He acknowledged the complex challenges the community faces and emphasized the importance of collaboration. “We know our community faces complex and serious challenges; we will be at the table working side by side with our community to face those challenges together,” he added.
The ceremony also served as a moment to reflect on the Chattanooga Police Department’s rich history, which spans over 170 years. This legacy of service and dedication serves as a strong foundation for future efforts to enhance public safety and community engagement.
