Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Fire Department crews responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment on the afternoon of December 23, 2025, involving an unusual and hazardous scene.
According to the department, firefighters arrived to find a two-vehicle crash in which one car was suspended from a guy wire attached to a power pole.
One person was trapped inside the suspended vehicle and suffered minor injuries.
Firefighters worked to stabilize the vehicle before safely assisting the occupant out of the car. Once the individual was freed, crews ensured the scene was secure.
