Chattanooga police search for suspects accused of using counterfeit $100 bills in local purchases

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of using counterfeit cash during purchases in the area.
According to police, the pair has reportedly been passing fake $100 bills during small transactions and receiving more than $70 in legitimate cash back from the purchases.
The case was featured through Crime Stoppers, and authorities said a reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to arrests.
Police are encouraging anyone with information about the suspects or incidents to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
