Birmingham, AL – According to the statement, the local police department has urged parents to be extra cautious in the wake of recent drowning incidents involving children and water. Police officials said the 2-year-old child, later identified as VioIet, died less than a week after she was pulled out from her famiIy’s pooI. Unfortunately, the toddlers mom, Rebeka, announced that her daughter’s fight for her life has come to an end. 

This unfortunate incident occurred on the toddler’s birthday party last week. The medical examiner told investigators that the child’s cause of death was drowning. According to VioIet’s parents, their toddler reportedly snuck into the pooI without her flotation devices on. Unfortunately, the toddler was later found by her parents unresponsive. 

First responded rushed the child to the hospital where doctors put her on life support to help her recover her brain. Unfortunately, after few days, the doctors examined the brain function which didn’t show good results. The family, who launched a fundraiser for the medical bills, has not yet announced plans for the young girl’s funeral due to the donation waiting period.

Police Chief Shane reportedly said: “A fence is always great, but they also make sensors to let you know that something is in the pool. Whether it’s an animal or a child, those sensors will go off. Anyone that’s had small children, you know often they can get away from you before you know it.’
