29-year-old man arrested, charged with criminal homicide after killing his girlfriend on Crestway Drive
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, the case reportedly began on August 19, 2024, when police were alerted to a possible missing person in the 300 block of Crestway Drive.
A witness reported that 33-year-old Brooke Killings had been murdered, leading officers to request help from the Homicide Unit.
According to the witness, Ms. Killings was last seen at Diamond Billiards on August 17 with her boyfriend, Demarcus Napier.
Video and cell phone data confirmed their whereabouts and traced Ms. Killings’ phone from the bar to Crestway Drive. Family members informed detectives of Napier’s history of domestic violence.
The Crime Scene Unit found blood at the residence, using BlueStar Forensic Blood Reagent to confirm its presence. It was determined that Ms. Killings had suffered fatal injuries, and Napier had used his vehicle to move her remains.
On August 20, Napier, 29, was charged with Criminal Homicide and taken to Hamilton County Jail.
The next day, CPD located Ms. Killings’ remains off Interstate 75 in Catoosa County, Georgia, with help from local authorities.
