TENNESSEE – According to the police officials, the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes between the Sam Ridley Parkway and Almaville Road exits in Smyrna.
It happened around 1:45 a.m Friday.
The crash involved injuries but neither the number of people injured not the extent of their injuries was immediately released.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash may have had a mechanical issue and was stranded on the roadway when another vehicle hit the disabled one.
The roadway reopened to traffic around 6 a.m.
