Nashville, TN – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, this incident occurred on Saturday.
It happened on Dickerson Pike.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers found one adult female victim.
Police said the 34-year-old victim was pronounced dead.
Investigators said an unknown vehicle was traveling northbound when the driver hit the woman.
It remains unclear whether the victim was attempting to cross the street or walking on the side of Dickerson Pike.
Investigators are attempting to collect security footage from nearby businesses to identify the vehicle and driver involved.
