Authorities investigate trailer theft from Bella’s Closet, seek public’s assistance
Clarksville, TN – Authorities are investigating the theft of a trailer belonging to Bella’s Closet, a non-profit organization supporting women in need in the Clarksville area. The trailer was last seen on Saturday, December 21, around 6:00 p.m., parked at 108 Kraft Street. When staff arrived on Monday morning, they discovered it was missing.
The stolen trailer is vital to Bella’s Closet’s mission, as it is used to transport donated items for their pop-up events, which provide clothing and support to local women. Founder Cynthia Pitts described the loss as “truly heartbreaking,” emphasizing the significant impact on their ability to serve the community.
Bella’s Closet offers free clothing and accessories, along with workshops on resume building, interview preparation, and financial counseling. They also provide mentoring and networking opportunities to help women achieve personal and professional growth.
