Indianapolis, IN – According to the court documents, the 19-year-old defendant, later identified as Cadden, was sentenced to nearly 190 years behind bars after he Iured three young people, 22-year-old MichaeI, 18-year-old Josep and 17-year-old AbduIIa, in a field ‘to show them how a GIock switch works. The then-16-year-old teen used the opportunity to kill them and rob them.

The investigation process began in October 2021 after the responding officers found three young men dead from apparent gunshot wounds. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly recovered spent sheII casings, but didn’t found the murder weapon. Authorities later revealed that the defendant lured all three victims to the field ‘to show them how to turn a regular gun into a machlne gun’.

The killings occurred over two nights, police officials said. The defendant Iured the victims and then used the opportunity to kill them before he robbed them. Authorities executed a search warrant and found the weapon used in the killings at the defendant’s home. 

According to the local news outlets, the case faced setbacks in 2022 after the judge threw out some key evidence after ruling authorities violated the defendant’s Fourth Amendment rights during a search warrant. The defendant was then released on an ankle monitor, but was quickly taken into custody after he shared photos with weapon and iIIegal drugs on his social media account.
