Chattanooga, TN – Members of the Chattanooga Fire Department participated in an intensive two-day leadership training session this week, hosted by Paratus Consulting.

The program brought together a cross-section of the department’s personnel, including command staff, battalion chiefs, and representatives from the Fire Marshal’s Office, Training Division, Special Operations Division, and Investigations Division.

The training focused on core leadership principles, organizational success strategies, and the implementation of measurable processes within the department’s operations.

Leading the course was instructor Robert Barber, who emphasized the importance of personal accountability in the professional growth of firefighters and the development of the fire service as a whole.

The sessions were held at Chattanooga State Community College, which provided classroom space for the training. The initiative reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to leadership development and operational excellence.
