Chattanooga, TN – Per reports, Chattanooga firefighters collaborated with Tennessee Forestry officials on Sunday night, December 8, 2024, to assess damage caused by the Lookout Mountain fire.
Residual smoke was still visible from the timbers of the incline railway.
The investigation into the cause of the fire, which began on Saturday, December 7, 2024, remains ongoing.
The Chattanooga Fire Department has not released details regarding the extent of the damage to the railway.
