Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department reported that officers responded to a shooting on the 1900 block of E. 33rd Street at approximately 9:50 p.m. on December 6, 2025.
An adult male victim was found with multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim had arranged a meeting with an individual he had been communicating with on Facebook.
Upon arriving, he encountered two unidentified male suspects who pointed a firearm at him, stole items, and fired shots as he drove away.
The victim was able to flee and seek help at a gas station on Rossville Boulevard. CPD Homicide, Crime Scene, and Robbery Units responded to investigate and process the scene.
Suspect identification is ongoing, and investigators are gathering additional evidence. Anyone with information is asked to contact CPD at 423-698-2525.
