Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department opened its Community Police Academy this week with the largest class the program has seen in decades.
The nine-week course gives community members the opportunity to learn directly from officers in specialized units and gain an in-depth understanding of police work in Chattanooga.
The department announced that the next chance to apply for the Community Police Academy will be early next year.
