CPD arrests two after Rossville Boulevard shooting leaves one dead, two injured
Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department has made two arrests in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on May 17, 2025, along Rossville Boulevard.
Officers responded to a reported shooting just after 11:00 p.m. in the 2900 block, where they found three gunshot victims inside a Nissan Frontier.
A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 44-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries and a 29-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to investigators, the victims had pulled into a bar parking lot when two suspects approached and opened fire unprovoked. The driver attempted to flee but crashed a short distance away. The suspects then fled in a dark gray Nissan Altima.
Officers with East Ridge Police later located the suspect vehicle. After a brief foot pursuit, both suspects were apprehended. Arrest warrants were issued charging the individuals with First Degree Murder, and they were booked into the Hamilton County Jail.
