Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department’s Traffic/DUI Unit earned second place in the 201–500 officers category of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office’s annual Law Enforcement Challenge.
This statewide program recognizes law enforcement agencies that advance traffic safety through education, enforcement, policy, and community outreach.
Efforts range from promoting seat belt use to conducting DUI enforcement operations.
Winners are determined by points accumulated through Tennessee Highway Safety Office grant-funded initiatives.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office placed first in the category.
