CPD participated in an armed intruder exercise on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus in coordination with the UTC Police Department
Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, this drill brought together emergency responders and volunteers from various agencies, including the Chattanooga Police Department, Chattanooga Fire Department, Hamilton County EMS, Hamilton County 911, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, and other local emergency services.
The focus of the exercise was on strengthening multi-agency preparedness and improving coordinated response strategies for potential active threat situations.
The collaborative effort aimed to enhance the emergency response capabilities of all involved agencies, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle such incidents effectively.
The CPD extended its gratitude to partner agencies and the community for their support and cooperation in making the exercise a success.
