Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department reported that its friendly holiday food drive competition with the Chattanooga Fire Department gained momentum after a large community donation.

According to CPD, A5Chattanooga made a significant contribution by donating nearly 3,000 food items to support the department’s efforts. The department expressed its gratitude and noted that the generosity of these young participants provided a major boost in the ongoing challenge.

Residents still had opportunities to support the food drive and help CPD in its rivalry with the fire department. Community members were encouraged to donate through an online link, drop off non-perishable food items at several designated locations, or arrange a scheduled drop-off by emailing the CPD communications team.

All collected donations were set to be delivered to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank on December 12 to support local families during the holiday season.
