Crews from the Chattanooga Fire Department swiftly responded to commercial fire on Rossville Avenue

Chattanooga, TN – According to the CFD officials, units dispatched to the scene included Engine #5, Ladder #5, Engine #3, Squad #20, Engine #9, Engine #4, Squad #1, Engine #14, and Battalions #1 and #2.
Upon arrival, Engine #5 and Ladder #5 reported visible smoke from both the front and rear of the building.
Firefighters promptly stretched handlines into the structure, managing to quickly knock down the fire.
The damage was contained to the single business, with some smoke damage affecting neighboring buildings.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No other information is available at the moment.
