Dayton, TN – On Friday, November 15, 2024, at approximately 6:14 p.m., officers from the Dayton Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Walnut Grove Road following reports of a possible shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
A male suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the community.
