Friday morning single-vehicle crash leaves 23-year-old driver dead

Nashville, TN – Metro Nashville Police Department officials said the fatal accident occurred right before 6 a.m. early Friday morning.
It happened on Old Clarksville Pike.
MNPD officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that the 23-year-old driver of Mercury Grand Marquis was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed.
His vehicle then went off the road and rolled down.
The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as James Old.
This incident remains under investigation, Metro Police said.
