This unfortunate incident occurred earlier this month, police officials said. The 37-year-old man was driving his car when he crossed paths with the 14-year-old child. The man’s vehicle can be seen passing by the child while she was crossing the street.
The man then stopped his vehicle only to ask the girl for directions. The 37-year-old man then asked the child to get inside his vehicle. When the girl refused his offer, the man asked for the girl’s number. The smart girl gave the man her mom’s phone number and immediately told the woman what happened. The woman then gave her phone to authorities, who engaged in conversation with the alleged predat0r while pretending to be the 14-year-old child.
According to the police officials, in the conversation, the 37-year-old man reportedly described and asked for specific se* acts, without any regard for the age of the victim. The man even asked for photos of the girl and told her to keep their conversation a secret. The man even called the child more than three dozen times, police officials said. Several hours later, investigators arranged a meeting with the man only to take him into custody. The 37-year-old man is being held on $250,000 bond.
