Man, who according to his family member was not the nicest guy, dies after the younger man ‘was told by a higher power’ to take his life before fatally stabing him; charges
Ohio – An Ohio man, 27-year-old Miciah, was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with the first-degree murder of his famiIy member, 59-year-old J. SwindIer at their shared residence. The incident came to light when the defendant placed a 911 call confessing to the crime. In the call, he stated that ‘he is not going to lie and that he kiIIed his parent’.
Micaiah was taken to the authorities where court records say he confessed to fataIIy stabing his parent in the head and neck. After the stabing, he reportedly cleaned himself up, changed his clothes and called 911.
During the 911 call, the defendant also said that his parent was ‘not the nicest guy.’
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers found the victim deceased. The 27-year-old man was taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the county jail on a $1 million bond.
The local police department, in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, has launched a thorough investigation into the case. Forensic teams are analyzing evidence collected from the scene, and investigators are interviewing neighbors and potential witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the homicide.
The 27-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court later this week for his arraignment. If convicted of first-degree murder, he faces a potential life sentence. According to police records, the 27-year-old defendant claims he killed his parent ‘because higher power told him to.’
The local community has expressed shock and sorrow over the incident, as the family was known to many residents. Counseling services are being offered to those affected by the tragedy.
Authorities in Ohio have urged anyone with additional information about the case to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
